Your new puppy’s first month

Vaccines, food, sleep and the first vet visit: what to do in the first weeks with a new puppy.

A tiny golden puppy asleep on a soft blanket next to a new collar, a lead and a chew toy.

Bringing home a puppy is joyful and a little overwhelming. These are the things that matter most in the first month.

Book a first visit in week one

We check their health, start vaccines and answer every question you have collected.

Keep food the same at first

Change food slowly over a week to avoid an upset tummy.

Make the vet a happy place

Pop in for a treat and a cuddle, with no exam. It makes every later visit easier.
