Every animal is different, and so is every first visit. Choose yours.

Pick your friend, see what to expect

Dogs

From puppy shots to senior check-ups, we take dogs at their own pace, with plenty of treats and a quiet room if the waiting area is too much.

Book a visit
  • Any past vaccination records
  • A list of food and medicines
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Your dog on a lead or in a crate

Cats

Cats wait in their own quiet room, far from barking, and we examine them wherever they feel safest, even in the bottom of the carrier.

Book a visit
  • A carrier with a towel over it
  • Past records if you have them
  • A sample of food they love
  • Notes on any changes you’ve seen

Rabbits

Rabbits hide illness well, so a yearly check matters. Dr. Delgado looks after rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets.

Book a visit
  • A carrier with hay inside
  • A little of their usual greens
  • Recent droppings in a bag
  • Notes on eating and drinking

Reptiles

Tortoises, lizards and snakes need warmth and patience. We keep a heated exam room for them and talk husbandry as much as health.

Book a visit
  • A warm, secure travel box
  • Photos of their enclosure
  • Your heating and lighting set-up
  • What they eat and how often

Care through the years

Every age has its own care

Like a fern unfurling, a pet’s needs change as they grow. This is how we look after them at every stage.

  1. Puppies and kittens

A strong start: the right vaccines, parasite care and lots of gentle handling, so vet visits never feel scary.

    • Vaccines every 3 to 4 weeks until 16 weeks
    • Microchip and spay or neuter
    • Food, training and socializing advice
  2. Grown-ups

A yearly wellness exam catches problems early, long before they hurt.

    • Yearly exam and boosters
    • Dental check at every visit
    • Weight and diet reviews
  3. Seniors

Twice-yearly visits and simple blood tests keep older pets comfortable and moving.

    • Exams every six months
    • Blood and urine screening
    • Pain and mobility plans

Pet parents say

Kind words from our clients

  • Dr. Lindqvist sat on the floor with Biscuit for ten minutes before she touched his knee. He walked out wagging.
    Ellen R.Biscuit, golden retriever
  • The cat-only waiting room is genius. Pepper used to scream the whole visit; now she naps.
    Marcus T.Pepper, domestic shorthair
  • Hardly anyone in town sees rabbits. Dr. Delgado saw Clover the same afternoon and saved her.
    Priya N.Clover, Netherland dwarf
